The pin up look is beautiful, classic and really easy to achieve. It's definitely one of my favorite make up looks.
I'm going to start this post with complete honesty, any look involving liquid eyeliner kind of scares me...but I have found a great tip that makes using liquid eyeliner so much easier. I will share that little tip later.
To achieve this look you will need: Foundation, powder, pinkish blush, light cream/white eye shadow, liquid eyeliner and lots and lots of red lipstick!
1. Even out skin with foundation and powder (I used Avon's BB Cream in Light-Medium get it here!)
2. Using a pinkish blush apply to the apples of your cheeks
3. Sweep light cream/white eye shadow over entire lid...concentrating on the brow bone and inner corner of your eyes
4. Using a light brown eye shadow, define the crease of your eyes
5. Starting in the inner corner of your lash line, dot black liquid liner as close to the lash line as possible
6. Mark a little dot on the outside corner of your eye where you want the cat eye to stop
7. Connect the dots(with the liquid liner) and fill in with black eye shadow to make the liquid liner stay longer
8. Apply some black mascara and curl your lashes
9. Appy some red lipstick
Once you get used to working with liquid liner it really isn't so scary...I promise! Another good tip for making the cat eye is to use scotch tape and tape the corner of your eye and that way you will achieve a straight black line when you pull the tape off. Overall, this look is pretty, classic and would be great for a night out.
For my hair I used this tutorial (I'm hair challenged and it was still super easy!)
