Review Time: Moon Goddess Cosmetics Lip Shine

Moon Goddess Cosmetics offers edgy collections of loose mineral eyeshadows and lip shines. Moon Goddess creator Selina provided us with two of her favorite products to review!

"Pornstar" is a fuchsia shade with lots of shine.
Highly pigmented and long lasting!

Why I wanted to try it:

Well, mostly cause I'm addicted to lip gloss, obviously! Plus, I'm quickly becoming totally obsessed with indie and handmade cosmetics. I feel like the quality is so superior, and I love knowing who I'm buying from and where my money is going!

First Impressions:

The color is absolutely beautiful, and its got just the perfect bit of sparkle. It definitely looks like a color I'd gravitate towards. I kinda love the name too, it makes me giggle.  The lip shine smells wonderful. I'm not exactly sure what the scent is, its fresh and a bit fruity, but very light and subtle.

Application:

Its a very good texture. Not at all sticky, not grainy, totally perfect! Its a very cool combination of sheer and highly pigmented. It definitely gives my lips a great color, but doesn't look painted on.

Bottom line:

I'm super picky with my lip gloss. I need my lip gloss to look natural, feel great, moisturize and smell good. This lip gloss hits all those marks. It has a great texture, and kept my lips moisturized, I didn't reach for my chapstick once! It has a really light fresh scent that is a great change from the usual strong scents of lip gloss. Most importantly, though, its got a great color and awesome sparkle. I'm in love.
