I don't know about you, but when I think of Boho chic my immediate thought is flowy, beautiful and effortless...
The flowy shirts and tops are an effortless way to look stylish and comfortable. This is by far one of my favorite trends, possibly ever. Although it is a favorite of mine, it's not always easy to achieve and if not done properly can make you look less boho and more hobo. Here are a few key pieces of advice that make this comfy cute style easy for anyone to achieve.
1. Pick ONE flowy, flowery article of clothing at a time. I find that if you throw on a big top with some wide leg pants it make you look much larger than you actually are. Here are some excellent examples of balance in an outfit (taken from Pinterest).
2. Keep it simple. I know that the Boho trend is a lot of layers and even sometimes a lot of jewelry but be wary of over accessorizing. I'm all about necklaces, multi band bracelets and anything shiny basically (ha ha) but remember the key to this look is to look effortless.
3. Wear what makes you comfortable. This is just a general style rule...I know some of the Boho-type clothes are a little too over the time and frilly even for me. Ultimately, if you are trying too hard to fit a certain style and aren't confident in it, it's not going to look good.
There are tons of ways to incorporate Boho in your every day wear. Here are some examples of accessories that make it a little easier to bring that style into your closet.
Boho inspired make up is super easy as well. Here's a YouTube tutorial on how to achieve that naturally beautiful look. Or check out my hippie inspired post here.

Great post!. I would definitely use the approach that you outlined...one baggy item at a time. I'm loving the purple handbag.
