Stripes are kind of an ongoing trend (at least for me).
I would definitely stay that stripes are something that could be a great staple on anyone's wardrobe. Here are a few examples of stripes from my Polyvore.

There are so many ways to wear this trend, shoes, scarves, shirts, pants, purses...basically anything. I wouldn't really recommend striped makeup, but that's just me. Another great way to incorporate this trend is through nail polish. Here are some of my favorites:
